"The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety. When true values and basic virtues undergird the families of society, hope will conquer despair, and faith will triumph over doubt". President Thomas S. Monson

For all Eternity

"If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently.... It becomes special because you have made it so." Five years of marriage and still so in love. I cannot picture my life without David, he has been everything to me. It is such a blessing to have him as my companion for all Time and Eternity.

To celebrate we took a trip to downtown Salt Lake City. We had dinner at the Garden Restaurant located in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on the top floor. Gorgeous views. But the most inspiring of all is the Temple. I took this picture from the top floor of the building.
After dinner we went to the Legacy Theater located in the same building and saw the Joseph Smith Movie. It was awesome, but I should have thought to bring a box of tissues. This is a picture of us by the beautiful Christmas tree they had in the main entrance.

When we got home, Alicia and Briana had cleaned the house as a surprise to us on our anniversary. I couldn't believe it, they even cleaned my stove, (which I didn't have time to clean earlier). Everything was picked up, nothing lying around. They even put Addy to bed at a decent hour. It was so nice. They are such good girls.
