"The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety. When true values and basic virtues undergird the families of society, hope will conquer despair, and faith will triumph over doubt". President Thomas S. Monson

Christmas time all wrapped up

Our two weeks with the girls here we did lots of fun things together. We also had my Aunt and Cousin Nicole visit us from Arizona the last week. Here are some highlights of some of the things we did. I couldn't post all of them.... cause that would just take too long.
We had so much fun! We took the family to see Santa at our friends Chiropractic business in Orem. Adeylnn was excited to see him... and told him what she wanted. She was a bit shy at first. Madison wasn't scared... but kept looking up at him.
Big girls on Santa's lap.
Adelynn and her best friend Emma. Her Mommy and Daddy are the ones that own the business.
another family pic.
Daddy and Adeylnn making a gingerbread house. This was her first time. She was so excited.
She mostly just ate the frosting.
The little tree she made.
putting on the gumballs.
Can you see the candy on her teeth? oops guilty.
And her masterpiece. With a little help from Mommy and Daddy.
Christmas Eve
I have made a new tradition. 12 days of Christmas. So we get to open 1 present for the whole family. And read the that present(which is a Christmas book) every night until Christmas.

I didn't get many pictures on Christmas day.. just enjoying the morning with my family and watching them open everything. But here are the few that I have.
Madison just loved this little baby laptop. She went crazy about it. The big present is from My dad and Nancy his wife. It is a big picnik table. Holds 8 kids. Pretty cute. I don't know why I don't have pictures of it.
Yes...... the family Gift. NERF GUNS!! We all have our own. Who says girls can't have guns and have fun too? My idea... David loved that I thought it.
Took Addy out in the snow to play and go sledding.
She went down by herself
Then she fell, and landed flat on her face. She was very unhappy with all the snow on her face. She no longer liked the blue sled after that.
So she had fun on the green one.

This was a different day when the girls and my aunt came up. It snowed in the middle of the week when she was here. So we went out that day it snowed.
Briana having fun.

Alicia trying to figure out the blue raft... it works better when you go on your stomach.
Here David is trying it out. Looks like he got it down pretty good.
Alicia and Addy
Later we got more snow and had snow ball fights, made snow angels, and a snowman. The snowangel pictures i forgot to out on here.

Addy rolling the snowman's head.
The head is on

So that's our snowman... with it's Manchester United scarf.
So after all that snow... Nicole and I went snowboarding. Perfect day, perfect snow. The drive up was awesome. Only takes 20 minutes from our house. It's that close. It was a bit crowded, but we stayed on the mountain most of the time... we took a few wrong turns and ended up going up to the really high lifts where all the pros go. We were in for it... but the snow was softer up there and the snow trails were fun. We had a great time.
The last day that Nicole and my aunt were here, the girls made a gingerbread house together just before dinner. They had lots of fun.
They all did different sides of the house before putting it together. It turned out pretty cute.
We always have so much fun with the girls here. Can't wait til there next visit. We had alot of fun too with my Aunt Joni and cousin Nicole, they will probably come up and visit this next summer.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
