"The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety. When true values and basic virtues undergird the families of society, hope will conquer despair, and faith will triumph over doubt". President Thomas S. Monson

Summer Stampede at Wheeler Farm

Took the girls to Wheeler Farm which is located just outside SLC. It was a free day (with the exception of a dollar or 2) with so many fun activities! The weather was perfect and we had a great time. Addy especially liked the train ride. That was her favorite. She giggled the minute we took off, and kept saying "choo choo" and "wow". She didn't want to get off once we stopped.

Addy has never used sidewalk chalk before. I think she was hesitate because I get upset with her when she marks on the tile floor at home with her markers. Thank goodness I bought the washable ones. She ended up loving this. We will have to do more of this at home, outside of course. Cinderella was there too! But as you can see Addy was a bit shy, and when she got closer she was trying to hide her face.
Briana getting a butterfly painted on her face. Alicia got a heart on her cheek.
Alicia and Briana making noodles. Here they had to prepare the dough before putting it in the machine.Addy playing with Felt books. She had fun dressing the bear in all sorts of different clothes. Addy watching the ducks and pointing to them saying "duck duck". Addy liked the train so much that she wanted to go on again. So this time Alicia went on with her. I think this is such a cute picture of the two of them, wouldn't you agree? The girls got cute hairstyles for free. The Results! They both looked very pretty. There is actually a lot of glitter from the hairspray but you can't really see it in the picture. but it gives it that extra cute touch.
