"The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety. When true values and basic virtues undergird the families of society, hope will conquer despair, and faith will triumph over doubt". President Thomas S. Monson

A Visit from Nannie

My mother-in law came up from California this past weekend. She and Chris drove up on Halloween night. It was great to have them come up and visit. We loved having them with us. It wasn't long until Addy took on to her well. They read books and played games and had lots of fun together. She actually calls her "Mannie", since she can't pronounce the "N" in the beginning. It's cute. But she can say Chris very well. Here Addy is watching her favorite TV show "Wow Wow Wubbzy". She is also holding her favorite dolly with her favorite blanket. Her Nannie has shown her how to wrap her baby in the blanket and sing her a lullaby. It's so cute now to watch Addy hush us when she does this.
Addy was pretty sad when she had to leave on Tuesday, she was having such a great time with her Nannie. Now maybe she will talk to her on the phone like she does with her sisters.
