"The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety. When true values and basic virtues undergird the families of society, hope will conquer despair, and faith will triumph over doubt". President Thomas S. Monson

Bryce Canyon Utah

This week my Aunt Joni and my Cousin's Nicole and Jessica came to visit us from Arizona. While they were here we checked out a few National Parks here in Utah. The first we saw was Bryce Canyon. It was about a 3 1/2 hour drive south east of us. Addy did very well with the drive. She slept a little of the way, but then just watched videos on our DVD player. Dave wasn't able to go with us. We ended up staying a night out there, and he had to work and attend school. But we had a good time. Everything was so beautiful.
Briana took this picture of this deer on her phone. We pulled over in the car, and it just stopped and looked at us until Briana let out a scream. She felt it was going to jump at her or something because it was staring at her for a long time without moving. It was pretty cool that it was that close. We all went crazy in the car trying to get out our cameras, but Briana was the only one able to get a photo.

Here is a beautiful panoramic view at the Inspiration Point.

Me and my girls.
The whole crew.
Addy looking at some birds at one the View Points in Bryce Canyon.
Addy just loves to play with Nicole.
Addy and the girls on our way to check out Moss Cave, and a Waterfall. The girls and I taking a picture on the water. This is where Alicia tried crossing to get to the waterfall and almost lost her sandles down the river. Aunt Joni had to run clear to the bottom to try and get them. Luckily there were some people that were able to fetch them for us. It was funny.
This was Addy's favorite part of the Trip.... playing in the water. She got upset when we had to get her out. This is the cabin that we stayed at for the night. It was new and very nice with a refrigerator and microwave. Plus a pretty good deal, and only 6 miles from Bryce.
Addy smelling the flowers.
We had walked to the local store to get drinks and snacks for our trip to Zion the next day. Addy had fun pushing a shopping cart just her size. It was so cute.
Off to Zion.
