"The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety. When true values and basic virtues undergird the families of society, hope will conquer despair, and faith will triumph over doubt". President Thomas S. Monson

Zion National Park

From Bryce we drove to Zion National Park early the next morning. We took the scenic drive through Mt Carmel in Zion. Everything was just so beautiful.
This tunnel is 1.1 miles long, very narrow and dark. It seems like it just keeps going and going. It does have cutouts along the way with quick glimpses of the gorgeous scenery of Zion Canyons. We couldn't make any stops inside, but Briana was able to get a picture through one of the cut outs with her camera below. It was pretty clever of her, we passed by them so fast, I can't believe she was able to get a good shot. The tunnel was pretty cool.
Addy loved the shuttle. It made stops at certain parts of the park for us to get out and walk on trails and take pictures. The first stop we made in the park was called Weeping Rock. At the top of the trail water drops from under this huge rock formation. We were all getting a little wet while standing here.
This trail led us to a river where we could dip our feet. It was such a hot day and we needed to cool down. The girls
Addy loves the water.

It might be hard to see, but there is a squirrel between Addy and Briana
We went on many trail hikes. We took turns carrying Addy when she didn't want to walk.

This was one of the sites we saw on the last trail before we went home. The colors in the rock are pretty cool. This trip was a great experience. I would love to go back again.
